Next Generation Ministries
Our Next-Gen Ministries are the place where we serve the next generation so that they may become rooted and established in the gospel.
Across the age groups we share one united vision:
To serve, and work with, children and youth so that they might come to know Christ and feel a sense of belonging in community.
Kids Rock is our children’s ministry serving all children from 2.5 years old to Grade 4. All are welcome in this friendly, safe environment. We strive to impart the truths of the gospel in a fun and engaging way. We believe that all kids are loved by God and can experience his presence. Kids are encouraged to embrace a genuine, daily relationship with the living God through sung worship, gospel-centred teaching, relational small groups, playtime, crafts, and games.
At Ignite, we recognize that our preteens (grade 5,6 & 7) are at a key transitional stage in their lives. They are increasingly enjoying their growing independence, searching to figure out who they are and what they believe and are looking for community to belong to. At Ignite we encourage them to explore all these things in a safe, Christ-centered environment, alongside leaders who are actively involved in their lives. Faith, Fun and Friends!
Frequency is the high-school ministry of Common Ground Church. More than just a place or an event, we are a bunch of very ordinary people living by faith in an extraordinary God. We place a high value on relational discipleship, and we view small groups as a key part of our ministry. We also try to partner closely with parents, and our community, to reach grade 8-12s in the South Peninsula with the gospel.
